Camarillo, Calif., March 4, 2009—91³Ô¹Ï President Richard R. Rush will deliver his State of the University address at the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce’s Good Morning Oxnard Breakfast on Thursday, March 12, at the Residence Inn by Marriott at River Ridge.  The event will begin with mingling at 7:15 a.m. followed by a breakfast buffet at 7:30 a.m., with Rush speaking shortly after.

The event is hosted by the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce and tickets are $25 for Oxnard Chamber members and $35 for non-members if purchased before March 9, then $35 and $40 respectively. Tickets can be purchased by contacting the Oxnard Chamber either online at or by calling 805-983-6118 ext 2.

Rush will speak about several topics during his address, including the University’s impact on the City of Oxnard, the current enrollment status at CSUCI, and new programs and construction happening on campus. He will also outline some of the University’s goals for 2009.
