The event, presented by the World Affairs Council of Ventura County (WAC) and sponsored by CSUCI and the Channel Islands Chapter of the National Association of Investors Corporation (NAIC), will feature well-known area business experts discussing the successes, pitfalls, and failures facing today's investors who are engaged in international business.
Panel members include Roy Martinez, vice president, international banking, Santa Barbara Bank & Trust; Dr. Paul Dwork, CEO, Merlin-Corp.; Ken Dishno, director of manufacturing, Imation; and William Buenger, executive director and general manager, Port of Hueneme - Oxnard Harbor District. Moderating the discussion will be Tracy Lehr, news anchor, talk show host, and Ventura County KEYT-TV bureau chief.
The event, to be held in the CSUCI Petit Salon, begins with a wine and cheese reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the panel discussion at 7 p.m. Cost is $45 for WAC and NAIC members and $60 for non-members.
