Camarillo, Calif., January 30, 2006 – 91³Ô¹Ï announces that applications are now available for CSUCI Foundation Scholarships and President’s Scholarships for the 2006-07 academic year.

The deadline for applying for both student scholarships, awarded on the basis of academic merit, is Thursday, March 2. Applications are available online at www.csuci.edu/financialaid/scholarships.htm.

CSUCI Foundation Scholarships are open to both entering and continuing students who plan to be enrolled for the fall 2006 and spring 2007 terms. Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0, and must submit a completed application, personal essay, and two letters of recommendation.

The President’s Scholars Program is open to freshmen who will be entering in the fall of 2006 with a grade point average of 3.75 and a minimum of 1200 SAT scores on both the verbal and math portions. The scholarship pays for full resident fees, a $600 per semester book store credit, and the use of a laptop computer. The scholarship is renewable for four years.

University scholarship programs are made possible by contributions from many members of the local community.
