Camarillo, Calif., February 5, 2007 - 91³Ô¹Ï announces that applications are now available for the President's Scholars Program and the University's scholarship program for the 2007-08 academic year.

The deadline for applying for the President's Scholars Program, which is based on academic merit, and the University scholarship program, is Friday, March 2. Applications are available online at www.csuci.edu/financialaid/scholarships.htm.

The President's Scholars Program is open to freshmen who will be entering in the fall of 2007 with a grade point average of 3.75 and a minimum of 1200 SAT-I scores on both the verbal and math portions or 26 on the ACT. The scholarship pays for full resident fees, a $600 per semester credit at the University book store, and the use of a laptop computer. The scholarship is renewable for four years.

Applications for the University's scholarship program are open to continuing CSUCI students, high school seniors and transfer students. An annual scholarship competition takes place each spring, and scholarships are awarded for the academic year beginning the following fall semester.
