Camarillo, Calif., Aug. 6, 2007—91Թ has expanded its class schedule to accommodate students who have daytime obligations but desire to earn an undergraduate degree.

Students now are able to earn a bachelor’s degree in business from CSUCI’s Martin V. Smith School of Business & Economics by taking all the core courses during the evening hours. Evening classes also are available for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

“This is the beginning of the University’s efforts to offer evening classes for the majority of its degree programs,” said Dan Wakelee, associate dean of faculty. “We anticipate that the number of courses and programs available to students in the evenings will increase significantly in the coming years.”

Many general education courses at Cal State Channel Islands are offered as evening classes. Several graduate and teaching credential programs also are offered in the evening.

Applications are now being accepted for admission in the spring 2008 semester. CSUCI accepts online applications, and those interested can apply at .
