Camarillo, Calif., November 17, 2005 – 91³Ô¹Ï will present workshops on the use and application of Latex software for math and sciences Monday, November 21, and Monday, December, 4. Both sessions will be held at 6 p.m. in Bell Tower West, Room 2505.
The workshops, to be conducted by Jorge Garcia, assistant professor of mathematics, and Yasi Behpour, CSUCI lab support technician, are designed for undergraduate students and members of the general public, including those who typeset journal articles, technical reports, books, slide presentations, complex math formulae, multi-language text, automatic generation of bibliographies and indexes and artwork.
The November 21 workshop will provide an introduction to Latex software, while the December 5 workshop will focus on advanced applications.
Each workshop is limited to 20 attendees. The event is free but registration is required. RSVP to Yasi Behpour at yasi.behpour@csuci.edu.
