Nov. 4, 2024 – Are you planning to retire soon? Interested in planning ahead to set
yourself up for retirement in the future? Join CalPERS on Tuesday, Nov. 19 for “Planning
Your Retirement,” a free, virtual class that will help you plan and prepare for retirement.
Regardless of where you are in your career, this is the time to start thinking about
your future.
Those who attend the class will learn more about:
- Service credit
- Retirement formulas and benefit factors
- Retirement pay options
- Taxes and retirement
Attendees may choose one of two time slots on Nov. 19, either 9 to 11:30 a.m. PST or 2 to 4:30 p.m. PST. You may enroll online by logging into your myCalPERS account at using your personal CalPERS online ID and password. Then, navigate to the CalPERS Education Center, online self-service that allows you to enroll in Member Education classes or view a CalPERS webinar and select the “Planning Your Retirement” class.
