Aug. 26, 2024 - The Writing & Multiliteracy Center (WMC) and Student Research are
launching Channel Islands Currents: Undergraduate Research Journal.
This IRA-funded, interdisciplinary journal will highlight the best undergraduate research conducted at CSUCI and give students experience in the peer review process. This journal welcomes written manuscripts and multimodal submissions, including research posters and recorded presentations.
All current and recently graduated undergraduates are eligible to submit to CI Currents. We accept research from across disciplines (sciences, social sciences, humanities, business, and education). Types of research that we accept include SURF research, CSU Student Research Competition projects, Capstone research, and class assignments.
Students are welcome use the WMC’s Multimedia Studio equipment to produce publication-quality multimodal projects.
CI Currents will be published once per year and calls for submissions will be shared each fall and spring semester. For Fall 2024, we will accept submissions until Friday Sept. 27 (end of Week 5).
For more information, including publication guidelines, please visit the CI Currents website or contact Sohui Lee or Daniel Lenz.
