Aug. 26, 2024 – CSU Channel Islands has partnered with Embodied Labs to expand caregiver training across Ventura County and beyond, with a goal of reaching 5,000 participants (students, caregivers, family, and community), expanding education on aging across the region.

Embodied Labs is a leader in Virtual Reality (VR) immersive training committed to advancing the standards of care across the aging continuum for professional and informal caregivers, helping to uncover the hidden perspectives on health conditions and common life realities related to aging.

We are pleased to announce that Embodied Labs has provided us with a to access their immersive learning materials, tailored specifically for our students at CSUCI, the community, and our collaborative partners. These computer-based virtual experiences grant you access to a wealth of engaging content about caring for the aging population and validates your engagement by providing you with a digital badge upon completion.

This is great for your resume and preparing for the future. You do not have to be a caregiver to complete the activities.

Be sure to share with family and friends – the link is available until Sept. 30, 2024.
