March 25, 2025 – The Martin V. Smith (MVS) School of Business & Economics is pleased
to continue their Spring Speaker Series with a session featuring John Zaruka, the
founder of Wedgewood Weddings & Events, a ZGolf Food & Beverage Services Industry
Consultant, Past President of the Rotary Club of Ventura South, and Emeritus Board
Member of the California Restaurant Association.
John will join us on Thursday, March 27 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Smith Decision Center, room 1908.3

John is a three-time Rotarian of the Year with Rotary Club of Ventura South, has been recognized as one of Ventura County’s 50 Persons over 50, was named a Person of the Year by the Boys & Girls Club of Ventura, and was awarded Small Business of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Zaruka will share about his professional experience, founding a business, and what it takes to succeed in the industry.
