The EOP application for Fall 2025 is now closed and are currently in Review. Applicants will be notified of their status the week of April 1st. 

Spring 2026 Applications for New Students will open in August and be due August 31, 2025.

Application Procedures

1. Submit a CSU application through Cal State Apply.
2. You will have the option of completing the EOP application while you are completing the CSU application. (Must select "Yes" to Apply for EOP in the 4th quadrant of the application)
3. Attach application fee or complete a fee waiver form (this can be completed online).
4. Select at least one person to write a letter of recommendation for you. Only one letter is required for CSUCI; however, two are encouraged. This is submitted electronically via the . It is strongly suggested that letters of recommendation be completed by the deadline of January 31, 2025.
5. Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application by April 2, 2025. You may apply online at the or the .
6. Submit the GPA Verification Form by the April 2, 2025, deadline (for Cal Grant eligibility). For more information see the .
7. Check your email on a regular basis; all communication will be made via email.

Acceptance to EOP will remain pending until our EOP Selection Committee reviews your completed EOP file consisting of the following:

• EOP application
• At least one letter of recommendation
• Confirmation of completed FAFSA or California Dream Act Application and income verification - due April 2, 2025
• Confirmation of submitted GPA Verification Form - due April 2, 2025
