- Be enrolled full time in 12 or more units during the academic year
- Be in good conduct standing with the University and student housing

Desk Assistants (DA):
A Desk Assistant (DA) serves as the first point of contact for residents and visitors at the village offices. Their duties involve managing front desk operations, assisting residents, logging and distributing mail, and providing general administrative support to housing staff.
DA's play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within the village offices, enhancing the living experience for residents.
DA's must have a completed housing application with no outstanding tasks before they
can begin working.
Expected Compensation: ($16.50/hr) (15-20 hours per week required)
Lead Desk Assistant (LDA):
A Lead Desk Assistant (LDA) is responsible for overseeing DA activities, working closely
with the Residential Education Operations Assistant, assisting with DA training, and
ensuring high-quality customer service in the village offices. Applicants should have
at least one year of experience as a Desk Assistant and one year of college experience
to be eligible.
Expected Compensation: ($17/hr) (15-20 hours per week required)
Resident Advisor (RA):
A Resident Advisor (RA) plays a vital role in fostering a supportive and inclusive
community within the residence halls. RA's are required to live on campus and are
responsible for creating a welcoming environment through organizing events, offering
peer support, and promoting a sense of belonging among residents. They act as mentors
and role models, provide guidance and resources, help to ensure community safety and
well-being, and support with emergencies. Additionally, RA's develop valuable skills
such as leadership, conflict resolution, and time management, making the experience
both rewarding and professionally enriching. Candidates need to have completed at
least one semester of college, with one year of experience preferred.
The RA role includes a room in student housing, a partial meal plan, and the opportunity
to earn an hourly wage.
A Summer Conference Assistant (SCSA) helps to coordinate and facilitate student housing
operations for conferences and events from late May through August. SCSA's perform
administrative work at the HRE Summer Conference desk, deliver excellent customer
service and guest support, assist in facility preparation through cleaning rooms,
washing linens, and assisting with group check-ins. This position offers flexible
hours and scheduling. Incoming freshmen & transfers, graduating seniors, and commuters
may apply. SCSA's are not required to live on campus, but summer housing is available
for an additional cost. 
Expected Compensation: ($17/hr) (Up to 40 hours per week)
A Marketing & Conference Assistant (MCSA) helps to coordinate and manage student housing’s
social media, support and participate in Saturday Dolphin Tours for prospective students,
and assist with all marketing aspects of student housing. Job duties include administrative
work, leading tours, preparing tour spaces, and inventory management. This position
offers flexible hours and scheduling. Incoming freshmen & transfers and graduating
seniors can be offered this position. MCSA’s must have a completed housing application
with no outstanding tasks before they can begin working.
Expected Compensation: ($17/hr) (18-20 hours per week)

Main Office:
Front Office Desk Assistants, Operations Assistants, Facility Assistants, Occupancy Assistant
The positions involve (all or in part) supporting the Main Housing Office by responding to inquiries over the phone or email traffic, and assisting with in person and electronic administrative tasks.
Responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality, coordinating meetings, adhering to FERPA laws, and supporting processes like check-ins/outs, key issues and distribution, facility maintenance and work requests. The role also includes maintaining records, providing customer service, and handling inquiries about residential status, room assignments, and financial matters. Participation in training and staying updated on Housing procedures and University policies is required.

Groundskeeper Assistant:
A groundskeeper assistant helps contribute to student housing’s breathtaking and picturesque
grounds. Groundskeeper assistants' duties include raking sycamore leaves, pulling
weeds, and rejuvenating the plant beds within student housing. If you love working
outside and independently toward a team goal, then the groundskeeper position may
be for you.
